Altenburg 2025 — Four Weeks of Advent Market
In 2025, Altenburg once again invited visitors from late November until shortly after Christmas to its Christmas market on the main square. Stalls with Erzgebirge art, candles, and gingerbread, regional gastronomy, and the nostalgic children's carousel characterized the four-week market. The extension beyond December 25th remained a unique selling point in the region in 2025 as well.
