Edition 2025 — Bachfest Altdorf
The Altdorfer Bachfest 2025 continued the decades-long tradition. Again, thousands of visitors from the Böblingen district came to experience the Bachsprung, enjoy the Hocketse by the stream, and celebrate the family day with carousel and suckling pig on Sunday.
Bachfest 2025
As every year in July, the Altdorf Gymnastics Club e.V. invited to the traditional Hocketse in Bachstraße in 2025. The Bachsprung from the weir into the Würm remained the crowd-puller — several groups of brave jumpers created excitement along the stream on Saturday afternoon. The barrel-tapping opening on Friday evening, the festival evening with a cover band, the Frühschoppen on Sunday, and the family day with carousel and cake buffet completed the program.
For decades, the Hocketse has been the most important source of income for the Gymnastics Club, funding youth sports, coach training, and club life. For the residents of Altdorf, the Bachfest is one of the highlights of the summer every year.
