Overview
The Altdorf Christmas Market 2025 ran from November 29–30, December 6–7, and December 13–14 in the historic courtyard of the Wichernhaus. The festively illuminated sandstone walls of the former Altdorf University once again provided the backdrop for one of the most atmospheric Advent markets in the Nuremberg region.
As in previous years, the program included stick bread by the open fire, a children's Christmas area with fairy tales, live performances by local choirs and music groups, regional specialties, and horse-drawn carriage rides on the third weekend. The visit from St. Nicholas on December 7 was, as always, a highlight for families.
