Almabtrieb Schleching (Raiten) — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition of the Almabtrieb in Raiten seamlessly continued the decades-long tradition of the Raiten farmers. Decorated cows, processions of the alpine groups throughout the day, hospitality at the Raitner Wirt, and live music characterized the festival. Families like Margot and Georg Mix, who have been involved in the Almabtrieb from the Dalsenalm for over 50 years, once again ensured the familial depth of this authentic Chiemgau festival.

The Achental valley provided the spectacular backdrop as every year — between the Chiemgau Alps and the Kaiser Mountains, with the first autumn colors in the mixed forests and meadows. Those who have experienced the Schleching Almabtrieb once usually come back.
