Edition 2025 — Ahlen shows its colours
The 16th "Ahlen zeigt Flagge" in 2025 took place on the last Sunday in June in the City Park. Again, tens of thousands of visitors gathered for folklore performances, international cuisine, and the traditional human chain. Over the years, the festival has become a firm fixture in Ahlen's summer calendar and a nationally recognized event for lived integration.
In 2025, the Festival of Cultures once again drew people from the city center and surrounding areas to Ahlen. Over 100 stage performances, dozens of stands, and thousands of participants in the human chain reaffirmed the democratic motto. Innosozial uses the event annually to publicly showcase Ahlen's civil society cohesion.
