Edition 2025 — Afrika Festival Stuttgart
The 20th edition of the Afrika Festival Stuttgart took place in July 2025 at Erwin-Schoettle-Platz and celebrated an association anniversary. Three days of program with live acts from the African continent, dance workshops, children's program, African cuisine, and religious services. The festival, as every year, attracted visitors from Stuttgart, the region, and all of Baden-Württemberg, confirming its importance as the most significant intercultural festival in the state capital.
2025 — 20th Anniversary
The 20th edition in 2025 marked an association anniversary: since 2006, the festival has been held annually in Heslach, growing from a small initiative into a regional highlight of the summer calendar. The anniversary program deepened the established components — main stage with live concerts, workshops for all generations, children's area, cuisine from numerous countries. The Afro-German community of Stuttgart and the mixed audience filled Erwin-Schoettle-Platz on all three days.
