Overview

The Adventsmarkt im Kloster Plankstetten 2025 took place as usual on two Advent weekends in the monastery courtyard of the Benedictine Abbey. Arts and crafts, candles, ceramics, organic mulled wine, and gingerbread, accompanied by monastery tours, midday prayer and vespers in the abbey church, a living nativity scene with animals, and a visit from St. Nicholas.

The previous edition in 2025 continued the established concept of the Adventsmarkt: two Advent weekends in the historic monastery courtyard of the Benedictine Abbey Plankstetten, featuring high-quality arts and crafts, handmade candles and ceramics, organic mulled wine and gingerbread, as well as a daily program in the monastic rhythm with tours, prayer times, and a visit from St. Nicholas.

As every year, the market attracted visitors from the entire Altmühltal Nature Park and the Upper Palatinate with its contemplative atmosphere.
