Frohnau Advent Market 2025 — The Classic 1st Advent Date

On the 1st Advent Sunday in 2025, November 30th, the Advent market of the Protestant Parish Frohnau opened as usual at 12:50 PM with a performance by Junges Blech Frohnau on the steps of the Johanneskirche at Zeltinger Platz. Until 5:00 PM, stalls in front of the church building offered arts and crafts, Advent wreaths, quince products, homemade cakes, and surprise packages. The café area served cake for consumption on-site, and mulled wine was served, encouraging visitors to bring their own cups — a deliberately sustainable detail of the market. For families, the puppet theater, fairy tale room, and cookie baking were available. The festive conclusion was the Advent Singing with Candlelight at 4:00 PM in the Johanneskirche — a firmly established tradition in the parish to mark the start of the Advent season.
