Adventsmarkt auf der Burg Löcknitz — Edition 2025

The traditional 2025 Advent Market at Löcknitz Castle was opened with a mandolin concert in the castle hall. The concert in the thick walls of the keep has been a firm tradition for years and sets the mood for the Advent season.

Afterwards, regional artisans presented their works at decorated stalls: ceramics, blacksmith work, wood decorations, candles, and knitted woolens. In the castle gallery and courtyard, the scent of fresh Christmas baked goods from the stone oven and stollen filled the air. In the castle cellar, guests warmed up with hot cocoa and mulled wine. As every year, it was voluntarily supported by the Local History and Castle Association, whose proceeds go towards the preservation of the castle grounds.
