Overview

The 2025 Adventsbasar took place exceptionally on the grounds of the Konrad-Duden-School at Rolandstraße 35 on the 1st Sunday of Advent (Nov 30) from 12:00 PM – due to construction work at the regular foundation seat. Workshop products, candle dipping, wreath making, a reading corner, and refreshments with mulled wine and crêpes characterized the afternoon.

The 2025 edition had to react pragmatically: the regular foundation seat at Rolandstraße 18–19 was unusable due to construction work. With the Konrad-Duden-School, a similarly located solution was found in the immediate vicinity, allowing the bazaar to take place in its usual format – including workshop sales, hands-on workshops, and refreshments from the foundation's kitchen.

This maintained the continuity of the Adventsbasar – an important annual highlight for the clients of the Kaspar Hauser Foundation and a familiar meeting point for the Pankow neighborhood on the 1st Advent.
