Overview

The 2025 edition took place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 2 PM to 10 PM. Around 20 courtyards opened — five more than the previous year. The city center from Plan to Markt through Sangerhäuser Straße and Freistraße to Schloßplatz was closed to car traffic. Live music, mulled wine, regional specialties in each courtyard.

The 2025 event was a leap in growth: 20 participating courtyards (5 more than in 2024) ensured an even denser festival program. Each courtyard was individually decorated by the owner and offered its own culinary and musical offerings.

Between Plan, Markt, Sangerhäuser Straße, Freistraße, and Schloßplatz, the city center became a large car-free festival mile. The Eisleben Christmas Market ran in parallel on the market square. Live music in many courtyards, stollen, mulled wine, and Mansfelder sausage provided the culinary accompaniment. Admission was free.
