Edition 2025 — Advent at the Open-Air Museum

In 2025, the Franconian Open-Air Museum Bad Windsheim also invited visitors to Advent in the historic rooms on the first three Sundays of Advent. Advent bakery, handicrafts, concerts, and over twenty ensembles characterized the contemplative event, each from 12 PM to 4 PM.

Advent in the Franconian Open-Air Museum 2025 took place on the first three Sundays of Advent, from 12 PM to 4 PM each day. In the relocated farmhouses, potato gingerbread was baked, mulled wine was served, and handicrafts were displayed. Concerts in the Spitalkirche, "Franconian Christmas," and a Christmas play complemented the program. More than twenty musical ensembles made Advent a contemplative counterpoint to the hectic Christmas market.
