In 2025, the Abbey of Windberg once again invited to an Advent concert in the monastery church on the first Advent Sunday. The church music of the Premonstratensian Abbey maintains a long tradition of atmospheric concerts, which are particularly well-attended during the Advent season.
The 2025 Advent concert took place on the first Sunday of Advent 2025 in the monastery church of Windberg Abbey. As in previous years, the concert provided a festive prelude to the Advent season with organ and vocal music.
The church music of the Premonstratensian Abbey of Windberg is a firm cultural fixture in the district of Straubing-Bogen and attracts visitors from all over the Bavarian Forest.
