Edition 2025 — ADV Elefantencup
The previous year's 2025 edition of the Elefantencup gathered several dozen dragon boat teams from the Berlin-Brandenburg region on the Havel riverbank in Gatow. The mix of sporting competition, festival program, and the mission of the Anti-Drogen-Verein attracted hundreds of spectators to the water. The bronze Elefantencup changed hands again; the rankings are documented on the ADV website.
The 2025 edition took place in changeable summer weather – bright morning, short rain showers in the afternoon of the first day. This did not dampen the turnout: the ADV dragon boat event is part of Berlin's summer tradition and reliably attracts its audience from the water sports scene and club landscape.
A highlight in 2025 was the joint appearance of several addiction and resocialization projects at the riverside stand, explaining their work to visitors. The ranking lists are still available in the PDF archive on the ADV website.
