Overview

The 49th ADFC Cycling Rally Berlin 2025 took place as usual on a Sunday in June — as a major demonstration for safe cycling infrastructure. Thousands of participants from Berlin and Brandenburg cycled on around 20 routes towards the Victory Column and Brandenburg Gate, where the annual Environmental Festival was held afterwards. A direct precursor to the 50th anniversary edition in 2026.

The 2025 edition was the 49th and thus the direct preparation for the 50th anniversary edition in 2026. The concept followed the established format: dozens of routes from Berlin and its surroundings, progressively uniting, closed autobahn sections for the cycling procession, a central rally at the Victory Column / Brandenburg Gate, and the Environmental Festival afterwards.

ADFC Berlin continued to use the 2025 rally as a central political platform to advocate for better cycle paths in Berlin and a comprehensive safe cycling network. Participation was again in the tens of thousands of cyclists — making the ADFC Cycling Rally the largest cycling demonstration in Europe.
