Overview

The 52nd edition of the Aachener Weihnachtsmarkt once again drew hundreds of thousands of visitors from Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands to the historic imperial city in 2025. From 21 November to 23 December, over 120 exhibitors set up their huts around the Cathedral and the Town Hall — with Aachener Printen, Glühwein, Reibekuchen and crafts.

The 52nd edition in 2025 once again confirmed the international reputation of the Aachener Weihnachtsmarkt as one of the most beautiful Advent markets in Europe. The historic setting of the Carolingian Cathedral and Gothic Town Hall, the wide range of Aachener Printen and the almost familial atmosphere made the market a must-visit in 2025 for Advent lovers from the Three-Border Triangle. More than 120 huts offered crafts, regional specialities and Glühwein variations.

Programme

Classic structure: daily opening 11:00–21:00, reduced hours on Totensonntag, long Saturday until 22:00, last market day with reduced closing time.
