Overview

The 14th edition of A MAZE. / Berlin took place in May 2025 as usual at silent green Kulturquartier in Wedding. Four days of showcase, awards, talks, workshops, and performances. Hundreds of indie games and playful media works from around the world, international jury, festival bar late into the night.

The 14th edition adhered to the established festival concept. silent green in Wedding was once again the main venue, complemented by Panke Culture and HAU – Hebbel am Ufer. The A MAZE. Awards were presented on the second-to-last night of the festival, with an international jury of game designers, theorists, and curators.

In 2025, the festival once again confirmed its role as a central meeting point for the international indie game scene in Berlin. Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg remained a funding partner, the festival was fully booked and attracted visitors from Europe, North America, and Asia.
