Edition 2025 — a cappella Festival Leipzig
The 25th anniversary edition of the a cappella Festival Leipzig took place in early May 2025. As every year, nine festival days featured international vocal ensembles performing Renaissance polyphony, jazz, folk, classical, and pop vocal arrangements at various venues across the city.
25th Anniversary Edition 2025
The 25th edition of the a cappella Festival Leipzig marked its quarter-century existence and used this occasion for a particularly dense program featuring artists from several decades of the festival's history. Renaissance polyphony, jazz vocal arrangements, classical choral concerts, family concerts, an open workshop, and the traditional Open Stage on Augustusplatz formed the cornerstones. The host ensemble amarcord opened and closed the festival.
