Overview
In the previous year, Seidewinkel hosted the traditional summer festival – as a preview of the big 625th-anniversary celebration in 2026. Doppelkopf tournament, fun games, open-air music, and "Essen am Feldrand" (meal at the field's edge) characterized the typical Lusatian village program.
The 2025 summer festival in Seidewinkel continued the long-standing customs of the Lusatian community: Doppelkopf, fun games with the youth, a band night on Saturday, and the community meal on Sunday with a church service, breakfast with the Königswartha brass band, and a tractor parade. A prelude to the major anniversary in 2026.
