The annual Schneeberg Mining Day — the highlight of the mining town's summer event calendar — took place in 2025 with the established format of a market, miners' parade, and mining band. In parallel, the city administration, together with clubs, initiatives, and citizens, worked on the concept for the extended five-day anniversary celebration in 2026 for the 555th Berggeschrey anniversary.
