Edition 2025 — 525th Schützenfest Meckenheim
The 2025 Schützenfest of the St. Sebastianus Schützenbruderschaft Meckenheim was celebrated as usual with keg tapping, king's shooting, and club competition at the Schützenhalle. The reigning Marksman King led the brotherhood through the year and handed over the insignia to the next generation in the run-up to the 525th anniversary.
The marksmen from the Rhein-Sieg district celebrated the penultimate festival in 2025 before the grand 525th anniversary in 2026. The format with a festival tent, king's shooting, and Rhenish catering was enthusiastically received by the members and the citizens of Meckenheim.
