Overview

The 26th edition of 48 Stunden Neukölln took place in 2025. As in previous years, with around 300 participating cultural venues in the Neukölln district, free access to all events, and an open, uncurated program structure. Organizer: Kulturnetzwerk Neukölln e.V.

The 2025 edition continued the format established in 1999: one weekend, three days, the entire district as a stage. Performances, exhibitions, readings, concerts, DJ sets, workshops, and backyard encounters formed the spectrum. Despite political and budgetary challenges for Berlin's cultural landscape, the festival maintained its scale of around 300 locations.

Heterogeneity remained the hallmark: from established studios in Reuterkiez to student initiatives at Tempelhofer Feld to German-Arabic readings around Hermannplatz. In 2025, 48 Stunden Neukölln remained what it had been since its inception: a showcase for a Berlin rarely visible in Mitte and Charlottenburg.
