43rd Open Franconian Senior Individual Championship Bischofsgrün

The 42nd Senior Chess Championship 2025 once again brought numerous regulars to the Fichtelgebirge. The proven concept with chess in the morning and excursion options in the afternoon attracted players from all over southern Germany to Bischofsgrün. The tournament was rated DWZ and ELO as usual, with a time control of 40 moves in 100 minutes plus 30 minutes with a 30-second increment. ChessOrg organized the typical accompanying excursions to Bayreuth, to Luisenburg, and to the Ochsenkopf.
