40 Years Congress Center Ramstein – Birthday Open-Air

The Congress Center Ramstein (CCR) is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026. Founded on May 9th, 1986, the CCR has been a central meeting point in the Westpfalz for four decades, hosting congresses, galas, concerts, and major events. For its birthday, the venue is organizing a three-day birthday open-air from May 14th to 16th, 2026, on the open space at the neighboring Azur Leisure Pool Ramstein.

Thursday, May 14th, 2026 – Father's Day with Habachtaler

The Habachtaler, a popular folk music and party band among families and Father's Day hiking groups, will open the festivities on Father's Day. Admission is intentionally kept low at 5 Euros, including a free drink. The event aims to bring families, hiking groups, and day-trippers together in a relaxed atmosphere.

Friday, May 15th, 2026 – Heavy Saurus for the Family

On Friday, starting at 5:30 PM, the cult Finnish children's band Heavy Saurus will bring an extraordinary family concert to Ramstein with their distinctive dino-metal. Heavy Saurus combines child-friendly shows with real metal sound and has built a loyal fan base in Germany and Scandinavia.

Saturday, May 16th, 2026 – The BossHoss Open-Air

The highlight of the weekend follows on Saturday evening from 7:30 PM: The BossHoss, the German country-rock sensation around Boss Burns and Hoss Power, will perform a major open-air concert at the Azur Leisure Pool. With hits like “Don't Gimme That,” “Hey Ya!,” and “Stallion Battalion,” Ramstein will transform into a country-rock festival. Advance tickets cost 64.50 Euros.

40 Years of Event History
