Edition 2025 — 150 Years Stadtkapelle Murrhardt
Before the big 150th-anniversary celebration in 2026, the Musikverein Stadtkapelle Murrhardt 1876 accompanied the traditional Murrhardt homeland festivals in the summer of 2025 with concerts on the market square and at the town festival. The Stadtkapelle performed during the town's anniversary festival weekend and the summer concert on the market square stage.
The 2025 Association Year as Preparation for the Anniversary
The 2025 association year for MSM 1876 was entirely dedicated to preparing for the 150th-anniversary celebration in 2026. Highlights included the summer concert on Murrhardt's market square and participation in the Murrhardt town festival. Additionally, the Stadtkapelle organized the traditional Frühschoppen concert during the homeland day and the annual Advent concert in the town church.
The approximately 50 active musicians, led by the musical director, intensively rehearsed the anniversary program for 2026 and presented some of the pieces in 2025.
