150 Years of Freiwillige Feuerwehr Spiegelau

2025 Preparation Year

The Freiwillige Feuerwehr Spiegelau used 2025 for intensive preparation of the major 2026 anniversary. The festival committee worked on the festival tent, the parade, and the music program. A dedicated festival publication on the 150-year history of the brigade was commissioned. Friendly fire brigades from the Freyung-Grafenau District Fire Brigade Association and patron associations were officially invited.

In parallel, regular service operations continued with training, missions, and drills. The FFW Spiegelau is one of the strongest brigades in the district in terms of personnel and a base for operations in the vicinity of the National Park.
