Overview

In the run-up to the major anniversary in 2026, the FFW Rodenbach warmed up in the summer of 2025 with its traditional club events. Exercises, anniversary planning, and social club evenings at the fire station on Talstraße characterized the year. The active brigade participated in performance tests, and the youth and children's fire brigades continued their training.

The year 2025 was dedicated by the Volunteer Fire Brigade Rodenbach to preparations for the grand 150th anniversary in 2026. The organizing committee, the board, and the active brigade worked on planning the three-day festival weekend, established contacts with friendly brigades and associations in the Main-Spessart district, and organized sponsors.

During the ongoing club activities, the usual events took place: performance tests, training evenings, social club evenings, and participation in the anniversary festivals of neighboring brigades. The youth fire brigade and the children's fire brigade, founded in 2017, continued their training work, thus securing the next generation for the coming decades.
