In its 149th club year 2025, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Reith intensively prepared for its 150th anniversary in 2026. The festival committee, active brigade, and comrades organized the festival tent, parade, demonstration drills, and catering.

The year 2025 for the FF Reith was entirely dedicated to preparing for the 150th anniversary. The festival committee, board, and active fire brigade comrades worked on logistics, sponsor acquisition, festival tent setup, parade choreography, and catering arrangements. In parallel, the brigade's regular operational duties continued: firefighting, technical assistance, storm operations in the Rhön, as well as training and further education. At smaller festivals in the Bad Kissingen district, the first invitations for 2026 were distributed — a form of mutual club solidarity, deeply ingrained in the Lower Franconian fire brigade culture.
