Overview
2025 was the preparatory year for the grand 150th anniversary of the FFW Herrieden. The focus was on the traditional maypole raising and the request for patronage from friendly brigades of the Ansbach District Fire Brigade Association. The actual anniversary festival was postponed several times due to COVID-19 and will now take place in May 2026.
Preparation for the Anniversary Celebration
In 2025, the FFW Herrieden focused on preparing the grand 150th-anniversary festival. The request for patronage from friendly brigades of the Ansbach District Fire Brigade Association was made, and the maypole raising and the annual general meeting marked the club year. As with many Franconian festivals, the organizing committee was formed, a commemorative publication was prepared, and the four-day program was finalized. The date for the festival weekend was set for May 21st to 24th, 2026.
