Edition 2025 — 150 Years FFW Dürrenmungenau
2025 was the preparation year for the 150th anniversary of the FFW Dürrenmungenau in 2026. The festival committee planned the program, recruited partner associations, coordinated the large-scale district depot exercise with the Roth District Fire Brigade Association, and aligned the festival dates with the brigades in the district. There was no regular association festival of this magnitude in 2025 – the 150th birthday will be celebrated in 2026.
Preparation 2025
The FFW Dürrenmungenau used 2025 for intensive preparation of the 2026 anniversary. Focus areas: recruitment of partner associations, festival tent planning, concept for the large-scale district depot exercise, coordination of the parade with the brigades of the Roth district and the town of Abenberg.
Anchoring in Abenberg
By being included in the festival calendar of the Roth District Fire Brigade Association, the supra-regional significance of the anniversary festival was confirmed.
