In 2025, the FFW Colmberg focused on preparing for the 150th-anniversary festival in 2026. The organizing committee planned the program, parade, ceremonial reception, inauguration of the modernized fire station, and sponsorship. There was no major public festival in the year preceding the anniversary.

The year 2025 was the major preparation year for the FFW Colmberg for its 150th anniversary in 2026. The club's board and the organizing committee handled program planning, coordination with friendly brigades from the Ansbach district, logistics for the parade, and the completion of the modernized fire station.

In their regular operations, the active members of the FFW Colmberg ensured fire safety for the market town of Colmberg, provided technical assistance in the Ansbach district, and engaged in youth work. No separate festival weekend took place in 2025 – all energy was directed towards the grand anniversary on May 16th/17th, 2026.
