Edition 2025 — 150 Years FFW Parkstetten
In 2025, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Parkstetten prepared for its 150th anniversary celebration in July 2026. The festival committee, patron fire brigades of the Gäuboden, and the District Fire Brigade Association Straubing-Bogen coordinated the festival program, procession, and logistics for the five-day event at the festival grounds on Chamer Straße.
Year of Preparation Focused on the Anniversary
2025 was dedicated to the preparation of the 150th anniversary festival in July 2026 for the FFW Parkstetten. A specially formed festival committee, along with the patron fire brigades from the district of Straubing-Bogen, determined the program, procession route, and logistics. The brigade's regular operational and training activities in the Gäuboden continued in parallel.
No major independent festival took place in Parkstetten in 2025—personnel and financial resources were consistently focused on the 2026 anniversary. Regular training sessions, educational activities, and smaller club events supplemented the club's year.
