Overview

The year 2025 was dedicated by the FF Dornstadt to preparations for the 150th-anniversary festival in 2026. The active members gathered material from 150 years of association history, planned the festival tent and sponsor company, and organized sponsors and bands. No own anniversary edition was scheduled for 2025 itself — the big festival only started in May 2026.

2025 was a transitional year for the Volunteer Fire Brigade Dornstadt. While regular training and operational duty continued, association activities increasingly shifted towards preparing for the major 150th-anniversary festival in 2026. The festival committee, support groups, and sponsor acquisition were established.

The FF Dornstadt itself did not celebrate its own anniversary edition in 2025 — the big festival was deliberately reserved for 2026, for the exact 150th birthday (founded in 1876). Instead, 2025 was filled with the usual annual association activities, St. Florian's Day, training exercises, and smaller club festivals, through which the association solidified its place in the village community in the Ries.
