In the run-up to the 2026 anniversary year, the Königsstuhl National Park Centre also focused on a dense programme of exhibitions and guided tours around the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site of Jasmund's ancient beech forests in 2025.
The 2025 season at the Königsstuhl National Park Centre focused on communicating the UNESCO World Natural Heritage. With guided tours, exhibitions, and event formats, the centre brought visitors closer to the significance of Jasmund's ancient beech forests, while also preparing for the 2026 anniversary year.
The combination of forest and chalk coast, which makes the National Park unique, was the focus of environmental education work, as it is every year.
