130 Years Volunteer Fire Brigade Holzkirchen & Sports Festival

The year 2025 was dedicated by the Volunteer Fire Brigade Holzkirchen and FC Holzkirchen 1949 e.V. to preparations for the joint festival weekend in 2026, where the 130th fire brigade anniversary will be combined with a sports festival. Planning such a village festival requires a long lead time: the festival committee, program, and catering are coordinated over several months. The FFW Holzkirchen is firmly anchored in the village as an active part of its club life. Thus, 2025 laid the foundation for the joint anniversary and sports festival in July 2026 at the Holzkirchen sports ground.
